FAQ

  • WHO CAN FILE A CLAIM FOR COMPENSATION?

Cancer victims and their loved ones can file a claim if their illness can be linked to a product, drug, device, or situation.

  • WHAT WILL IT COST ME?

(the following percentages are not guaranteed)

Attorneys we represent work on a contingency basis, meaning they require no money upfront. At the end of a claim, you will get 60% of the settlement, award, or verdict—minus any costs incurred by the law firm(s) representing you (filing fees, medical record procurement, etc.).

However, if the law firm representing you fails to recover on your behalf, you will owe them absolutely nothing.

  • HOW MUCH MONEY CAN I WIN?

That depends on the particulars of your case and its outcome. There are no guarantees.

  • IS THERE A TIME LIMIT FOR FILING A CLAIM?

Yes, and that time limit varies by state. In most states, the statute of limitations is two to three years following an injury or illness, or the discovery of its cause.

This is why it is so important to consult an attorney as soon as possible.

Have you or a loved one been diagnosed with one of the following cancers?

Select From List Below To Continue

Have you a loved one been exposed to, or used Roundup Weedkiller?

Select YES or NO To Continue

Exposure to Roundup is required to continue this survey. HOWEVER, many people have been exposed to Roundup even though they’ve never used the product. One could’ve been exposed to Roundup at any of the following locations

  • Schools
  • Golf courses
  • Public parks
  • Farms
  • Orchards
  • Sports fields
  • At home (many professional gardeners, groundskeepers, and landscapers, and lawn maintenance companies use Roundup frequently. A next-door neighbor or a friend may have used Roundup)

The Link Between Roundup and Cancer

The World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer recognizes glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, as “probably carcinogenic.” Their evidence has suggested a link between glyphosate and the development of cancerous tumors in mice and rats. Additional laboratory studies suggest that glyphosate damages DNA, resulting in the formation of cancer.

Cancers Commonly Associated With Glyphosate Exposure

  • B Cell Lymphoma
  • Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
  • Mantle Cell Lymphoma
  • Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma
  • Small Lymphocytic Leukemia
  • T Cell Lymphoma

If you’ve been diagnosed with cancer and believe you’ve also been exposed to Roundup, you may have grounds for a lawsuit against Bayer/Monsanto, the maker of Roundup products.

Have you or a loved one used any talc-based product (talcum/baby powder, Shower to Shower, etc.)?

Select YES or NO To Continue

Use of a talc-based product (talcum powder, baby powder, J&J’s Shower to Shower Body Powder, etc.) is required to continue this survey. HOWEVER, you may have been exposed to talc in ways other than use in the genital area. Talc is often used in cosmetics, deodorant, paint, roofing materials, pills, vitamins, antacids, and as an anti-caking agent in food processing. Talc was used to improve the texture of rice in Japan, until it was linked to an increased risk of stomach cancer. Talcum powder can also be inhaled in an enclosed environment, such as a barber shop, which could result in mesothelioma

By far, talcum powder poses its greatest risk when used for feminine hygiene purposes. Repeated use of talcum powder in the genital area has been linked to:

  • Cervical Cancer
  • Endometrial Cancer
  • Esophageal Cancer
  • Fallopian Tube Cancer
  • Mesothelioma
  • Ovarian Cancer
  • Uterine Cancer
  • Vaginal/Vulvar Cancer

If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with cancer following regular exposure to talc-based products, you may have grounds for a lawsuit.
